Penetration Testing

During a penetration test, TST's Information Security Consultants will attempt to gain access to a system by circumventing the security features that have been implemented. The test occurs over several phases. During the initial footprinting phase a complete profile of the target's information technology posture is created. Once a proper footprint has been obtained, scanning is performed to determine what systems and services are responding, and if any information that appear innocuous could be used by a malicious intruder to exploit the site. Once the scanning phase is complete and the systems have been enumerated, the penetration and escalation phases begin.

As no two environments are alike, the penetration testing phase is tailored with the specific infrastructure and software configurations unique to each site. TST will provide a report detailing the weaknesses discovered and recommendations on how to eliminate or mitigate the identified risks.
